Nostalgia, Mystery And Arty Gardens.

It's 12.46am and I am sitting on the floor in front of my grandparents heater eating a bowl of Smiths crinkle cut chips in 'Original' flavour, a Lindt egg and a bottle of Mt Franklin water.

I love spending time at my grandparents house even though the drive here was a drainer. Instead of it taking us just over an hour, it took us closer to three hours due to Easter traffic, roadworks and rude truck drivers who wouldn't let us merge so we missed our freeway exit.

It's funny. When I was in my early teens it was always sorta like having to do the dishes every time my mum would tell us to get in the car to drive the short ten minutes up the road to their house. I guess that was partly due to the fact that when I was younger, I never felt a real connection with my grandmother. She always seemed to have a stern old-school English exterior, despite how funny and magic she was.

I'm not even sure if her and I would be this close, unless she had of gotten sick.
My grandmother suffered horribly for a year and was strong enough to survive an illness that runs deep in our family - cancer.

It was like being ill and surviving made her blossom. She is the grandmother everyone hopes to have. She can talk to you, be open with you and joke with you about love, sex, friends, pregnancy (or unfortunately in my case, the lack of it), life and although sometimes I'm sure she wants to slap me on the back of the head, I never feel like she is judging me.

We stay up until 3am watching Seven Brides For Seven Brothers. She wants a glass of scotch and coke at 11.30pm even though my grandfather is doing an excellent job of pleading his case about why she should be going to bed instead. She is extremely artistic. She thinks that spending her last $5 on a cappuccino at a nice cafe is living the life and she doesn't take any crap - from anyone.

I guess I'm writing this blog because A) It's what I'm thinking because I'm looking at her right now.. but mostly because of option B) She has started a blog and I want you all to read it.

Don't mind the fact that she hasn't added the photos to her stories yet - she learns how to do that tomorrow.

My Master Plan.

My grandmother is coming to stay with us on Thursday so I'm writing a list of places to go shopping. She is always amazed at how cheap everything is when you shop at the right places in Melbourne. It's been two years since we went shopping together in Melbourne and she still can't believe that she got two pair of shoes for $10. She will be even more amazed when I tell her where she can buy three pair for $5. The factory outlets here have the most amazing deals!

Here is my plan for today.
- Clean my room
- Hang all of my new clothes
- Do my hair
- Plan where we are going with my grandmother
- Organize my makeup
- Record two vlogs

I MISS MY BLOG

I'm vidulant when it comes to my blog. I love to write at least three posts a day and I cant stand when people say "Oh sorry, I've been such a bad blogger. I've just been so busy." It's really not difficult that put a post up once a week. Unless your in my position and are at your grandparents house with no internet and being worked like slave labour to finished a book. Haha. Joking, it's been great - kinda.

I'm praying that I'm gonna be home in the next two days and I thought I'd upload some photos of me over the last week just in case you forgot what I look like =p

Absent.

Hey lovelies. I'm so sorry for the lack of posts over the last few days. I'm at my grandparents house until Friday. I have been recording daily vlogs that I will upload asap but I'm just letting you know that my posts will be few and far between over the next few days.
Hope your all having a great week.
Peace xxx

Yesterday All My Troubles Seemed So Far Away.

Yesterday.

Holiday Photos.

Try looking out my window.

Notice the fairy in the background? She's waiting for me paint her toes to match her nails.

After painting my cousins nails and toenails I thought we'd have a cheesy grin competition.
She won.

So she got ice cream.

I'm sure your green with envy ;) haha.

How I feel most days.

I swear I'm not looking down my nose at you.

I think I look better sideways.
Healthy hair? Only obtainable in photos - for the time being.

Ciao, So Long, Auf Wiedersehen, Adieu, Farewell.

Ok, it's 9.07am.

I've just spent the last hour running in my house and back outside to my bungalow to organize my bags. If you haven't already guessed, I leave for my grandparents today. I know, I know, I'm a day or two behind.

I'll be gone for around 10 days. It's my birthday on the 2nd of August so I'll be gone for my birthday. First birthday away from my mummy lol. Nah just joking, she is coming to see me on my birthday. Which is good because I get to see her and because I get my presents on my actual birthday haha.

I wrote a list last night for what I'd like on my birthday. I already have a lot of stuff so the main thing I wanted was a DSLR camera. Preferably a Canon now that I've checked them out. There is one in JB HiFi for $850 so I said that if my mum and brother go halves, I'd put in $150 or $200 as well because that is one expensive-ass camera.

=\

Some other things I put were just silly things like some movies I want my brother to download and put on a USB for me. Oh and a pink USB is on my birthday list too. Other than that I want a big jug of my brothers home made iced tea waiting for me in the fridge when I get home.

I don't wanna be greedy. Besides, at my grandparents house is about 40 parcels that my mum and I bought off Ebay so that will be like a birthday in itself. I'm most looking forward to my Fendi and YSL wallets the most. I've forgotten almost everything else. OoOoh I'm so exciteddddd. I can finally stop using my poor vintage Christian Dior black and gold wallet that I photographed a week back.

I'm using my $5 Vuitton bag today because I need a bag with a lot of room. I know I said I wouldn't take it out in public because it's 99% fake and I would have used my Miroir bag but like I've said in the past, it's like carrying a plasma tv under your arm it's so heavy. Plus It's bulky and blah. It's good for certain occasions and this is not one of them.

The other bag I'm using to carry a weeks worth of clothes (and shoes) is my mums chocolate brown Playboy overnight bag. I rolled all of my clothes into little sausages so I could fit more in. This technique will come in handy when I go overseas. My suitcase will be choc-a-block full of stuff. It's funny because my mum and I have the same Playboy overnight bag, hers is brown, mine is black. We got them on sale at Highpoint a while back. They were reduced to like $40 each from around $200 so we chose which colour we liked and bought them. I was cut they didn't have a pink one lol. So stereotypical.

Anyway, hate to go but it's time. Gotta call the taxi. There is no way I am carrying these two bags upto the corner and then catching a bus etc.

Have a good 10 days girls. I'm still hijacking my cousins internet, just don't know when it will be.

Take care, Peace.

Ranga McRangason.

I jumped the gun and bleached my hair again. I'm using highlighting kits so that it's not a harsh bleach. The last thing I want to do is burn or melt off the ends of my hair. It took my years to get my length back and no two tone dream can make me sacrifice my length.

After bleaching it a second time, I'm Ranga McRangason. It's black, lightens down burgundy then the ends are orange. I think my hair is way past the toner stage. I'm gonna have to put a brown over the orange, which burns me because it feels like it takes away the lightness I've just accomplished. I'm going to put a dark ash blonde over the red/orange, put a toner over that and then see where I'm at. Fingers crossed I don't need to put a brown over the blonde orange and red. Haha. My hair is still damp in this photo but you get the idea of what it's like at the moment.

I'm going to my grandparents again tomorrow. This time for around 7 - 10 days. Last time I didn't get a long enough stay. As you can imagine, their house is so peaceful. Always bright and postive. I know it sounds stupid but just look at the photo of their spare bedrooms! It always feels like summertime when I look at the pink room. It doesn't hurt that they have my baby photos displayed in there ;)

This time I'll be sure to use my cousin Theo's internet to be able to blog while I'm there. I'm taking my USB with some preloaded fashion photos and 'celebrity photo of the day' pictures so I don't have to spend an hour searching Google while I'm there.

I will remember to take a lot more photos this time. My last visit felt rushed and I never had my camera on hand to take as many photos as I would have liked.

This wont be the last post I do today so I wont say my goodbyes until tonight.

Peace.

Visiting My Grandparents.

I know I'm a week late with my visit to my grandparents photos but better late than never. Here are some of the photos I got off my camera before it broke.

When I first arrived, my grandmother took me to my great grandmothers house. She gave me a beanie and scarf that she won through Take 5 magazine.

My grandparents heart shaped ice cubes.

The room I stayed in.

Next to the pool.

Their Lygon Street.

The dining room. Notice the new pink chandelier.

The Victorian cafe.

My bubblegum egg.

Honey, I'm Home.

Hey my lovelies, I'm back from my grandparents. I got home lastnight. Yes, I stayed an extra day than I thought I would but I had so much fun. I took a lot of photos and I'll be doing an entire post on it later today. This is just a quick blog to let you know I'm back. I'm about to go to Victoria Market and the cinemas with my mum and brother.

The trip home lastnight was better than on the way there. I had to sit next to two obnoxious teenagers on the way there that are of the opinion that if you have kids before the age of 25, your dumb and that the only smart people in the world are the ones who go to university. Everyone else is apparently a loser and will never make anything of themselves. It was soooo hard not to punch the punjabi wanker in his ugly bearded head.

Like I said before, the trip home was a lot better. I sat across from a guy in his late 50's. He looked like any other balding nerd accountant in a cheap suit... and then his phone rang. It would be an understatement to say that I was 'surprised' when I heard his phone ringing to the tune of some hip hop/rap song that I am not even up to date with. After he took his business call, he reached into his briefcase and pulled out his Nintendo Ds that looked like it had been used as a substitute ball in a round at the recent world cup. It was beat up, thrashed and covered in Guitar Hero stickers. What did he play, you ask? Well GUITAR HERO of course. It was a good trip home. Hilarious. The only downfall was that my bag was so heavy that I would have dislocated my shoulder if I carried it home. My brother was nice enough to meet me at the train station and carry it home for me. It was heavy due to the fact that my grandfathers sister Anita gave me 15 issues of US and UK Elle, Bazaar and other fashion magazines. SCORE. I could have left them there until tomorrow when I go back to my grandparents to celebrate my great grandmothers 90th birthday, but where's the fun in that? I would have missed out on one whole day of reading one. There is so much in each magazine that I study each page like I will be quizzed on it later.

Anyway, this was meant to be a short post. I'll post another one when I get home after the cinema.

Take care.

It's good to be back.

Three Blogless Days

Tomorrow I'm going to my grandparents house for three days. OoO three whole days without Blogger =\

I will be going cold turkey without my blog for three days which isn't going to be fun, but on the up side, I'm definitely looking forward to seeing my grandparents and consuming a monster sized bowl of wedges served with a double iced coffee at their local cafe.

Awesomeee.

I'm gonna make sure to take a lot of photos. There wont be any shopping trips because it's a small country town but I should be able to take some charming photos there.

I'm finally on 90 followers so you guys should be taking advantage of my blog sale! If the prices are too high, would someone please tell me? My blog sale has to fund some amazing finds on Ebay haha. I'd prefer to sell my Mac makeup to you girls rather than bitchy strangers on Ebay.

Speaking of..

I hate Ebay from a sellers point of view. It's too expensive to sell things. Fees are bullshit expensive and people on there are rude as balls! I cant believe I just got a negative feedback because some COW didn't go to her local post office to pick up her item. Her postman left a card because she wasn't home and she didn't think to GO TO THE POST OFFICE which means she thought it was appropriate to leave a negative saying that she 'didn't receive her parcel'. Uh, get off your ass and go collect it. That's why I provided her with the freakin registered post number, so she could track it ONLINE. People really drive me up the wall when they are so mean and unfair. She only did it because sellers CANT give a negative feedback, which is also bullshit.

Anyway, enough of a rant. I just packed my bag for my trip. It's three days but I'm a girl so I packed three pair of shoes, like 9 tops, a jumper, a dress, a skirt, some pants, my pjs and some other stuff haha. All of it fits perfectly into my Givenchy overnight bag. My handbag is another story altogether. That thing will be overflowing with last minute things. No doubt I'll chuck my phone charger, toothbrush, underarm deodorant, Nintendo Ds, Ds charger, ipod (brothers) and 100 other things in there as I am walking out the door. I don't know if I love or hate bus trips, they can be so relaxing - if your sitting alone or with someone you actually know. I have taken the bus to Sydney like 10 times, which is a 12 hour trip. So now that I think about it, I've spent over 120 hours on buses. Easily 150 hours I reckon. This trip is only two hours so it's not so bad.

Enough rambling on from me. Must go and watch a movie and finish my mums pedicure - ew. Hahaha, just waiting for her to read this post and dig into me.

Will miss you girls.

See you in three days!

You better comment me while I'm gone hahahahahhahha.
