Jelly Cakes
My grandmother prepared these for us on our visit today. Vanilla cupcakes with whipped cream, blue jelly and Cadbury Flake crushed over the top. Yummy!!
A Pavlova A Day..
This would have to be my favourite dessert. I thought I'd try pink cream for something different.
Up, Down, Up, Down.
For those of you who don't get the movie reference in my title, I'm referring to Daniel Son in The Karate Kid when he had to paint the fence. That is one of the jokes my mum and I had yesterday when we painted our front fence. The other joke was us singing "A Woman's Touch" from the classic movie Calamity Jane. The highlight of our day was when my brother bought us a lunch platter and sang (in character) "And what does Mr Sunshine say to you? Howdy do!"
I guess we played that Dorris Day movie one too many times growing up.. Haha. We spent all day doing the first coat, only to run out of paint on the home stretch.
Our Moroccon Iftar.
I was at my cousin Moe's house a few nights ago for iftar. Iftar is the meal you have to break your fast during Ramadan. We had a mix of ethnic food and sat down to eat it on the floor. You haven't lived until you've eaten from the floor..
.. Wait, that sounded really wrong. Haha, you know what I mean.
Jealousy Is A Curse..
But sometimes it's unavoidable..
This was the cake my friend got for his birthday.
Of course I would have liked it better with the original green and red bow or even a pink and red bow.. BUT even taking into consideration the hate I have for blue, I still LOVE this cake.

It may be raining today but Luna Park was still up n running n the jam doughnuts still tasted good, if not better!
