I'm PhotoReady - If You're Not Wearing White!

The other day my brother hugged me (this in itself is unexpected) but what was even more disturbing and unexpected is the fact that when the horrid event was over, the HAM in Champion was covered in a massive foundation swipe. From this I have taken the knowledge that Revlon Photo Ready may be ready for photos, but it isn't ready for clothes. This photo doesn't show the extent of transfer but you can definitely see the discolouration above "Champion". 

I'm PhotoReady.

On Friday I went shopping with my mum and bought a few more of those Maybelline mascaras that are on sale at Coles. Altogether I have eleven new mascaras by Maybelline. I also have two coloured mascaras from Max Factor that I am yet to try and review.

Anyone who reads my blog or watches my vlog knows that I swear by Revlon Photoready foundation and cover powder so I thought I'd try the translucent powder aswell.

I put it on my hand in the store and the only reason I knew it was there was because it seemed to even the tone of my skin in that spot.

While I'm on the subject of Revlon and makeup, has anyone tried the new (to Australia) Revlon Aqua mineral makeup? I seen a poster in Big W (Australia's Walmart) and it looks amazing!

More Than A Worthy Alternative To Mac.

I think that everyone is so in love with Mac that it's come to a point in the average beauty bloggers life that they only really stick to Mac and designer cosmetics (Chanel, YSL etc).

I am so sick of seeing Mac hauls. Really, I am.

I'm from Australia so Mac is extremely expensive to buy. I think it's around $45 - $50 for a single blush. In my opinion? I'd prefer to buy a complete Chanel palette off a wholesale cosmetics site for that amount of money. Don't get me wrong, I love my cheeks but if I could cover my whole face and not just my cheeks for $50 then I'd prefer to do that.

Maybe you'll think I'm a tightass, maybe you'll say I'm not 'up with it', but most of my Mac products have been gifts, bargains on Ebay or swaps I've done in the past.

I love makeup more than I can explain but I am never tunnel visioned about anything in life, whether it be makeup, food, clothes, shoes or even the smallest thing like stationary! I love to try different things, cheap or expensive, new or old.

I can't say that this is a new addiction of mine, because I have been shopping here for a long time but I think I should give an honorable mention to Inglot.

It can't be easy being in competition with a company like Mac.

I have found that they have the best quality in packaging and product. But what is the best quality they offer? The price!

I just got three nail polishes for the price of one. They were on sale for $5 each, just because they are last seasons shades!!!

Point me in the direction of a Mac store who would lower their prices to $5 just because it's last seasons stock and I'd be there in a heartbeat. I think the point I'm making is that I don't think I've ever seen a sale at Mac. They get away with keeping prices the same because they have a 'permanent line'.

I love Mac and this wasn't intended as a dig at Mac so please don't get me wrong but in my opinion, Inglot is THE GREATEST!

I love love love love love love them.

Just look at these photos and just TRY to tell me that they are not worth putting your Mac Pro store on hold for a while?!

Today was a yeh-hey kind of a day. My mum and I were driving all over the countryside so I'm exhausted at the moment. Too exhausted to even go and wipe the dishes..

This is how crappy the eyeshadow looked after 2 hours so I will never recommend Napoleon Perdis. I always have bad experiences with all of his products.

Lips:
Stunning shade of coral/peach from Red Earth that has been discontinued for years so there's no point in writing the shade .


I love wearing dark brown eyeshadow, I don't wear it often enough. Maybe that's the reason I love it so much.

I'd love to waffle on and tell a story and recap my day but I'm honestly too wrecked. Time to sit in front of the heater and continue my Harry Potter marathon. Think were up to movie 4.

PS - Sorry my OOTD's are so boring. I can never be bothered dressing up in winter. All my nice clothes are summer ones lol. Tomorrow I have a date so I'll have to spunk myself up.

Ugh, that reminds me - have to dye my hair. Twice. Top black and bottom light ash brown. What a marathonnnnnnnn effort.

I might also give mum a mani-pedi if she's nice to me. Haha.

Geez, I'm feeling more alive already. I don't know if it's my blog or the sugar rush I just got from my dinner. Sugar rush at dinner you ask? None of us could be bothered cooking so we are each having an apple danish we just bought at Woolworths for dinner. Made fresh daily. Only 95c each!

An apple a day keeps the doctor away. An apple danish a day keeps my dentist gay. (Meaning happy. Happy because I will have to spend a lot of money on my teeth if I keep eating sweets.)
