Green Shadow Is The ONLY Way To Go.

I have resembled these two girls for most of my adult life. Tanned, black hair, brown eyes and dark green smoked out eyeshadow. It's AMAZING.

Now that I'm blonde I'm praying that it still has the same effect on me.

Who else does their eyeshadow like this?

More Than A Worthy Alternative To Mac.

I think that everyone is so in love with Mac that it's come to a point in the average beauty bloggers life that they only really stick to Mac and designer cosmetics (Chanel, YSL etc).

I am so sick of seeing Mac hauls. Really, I am.

I'm from Australia so Mac is extremely expensive to buy. I think it's around $45 - $50 for a single blush. In my opinion? I'd prefer to buy a complete Chanel palette off a wholesale cosmetics site for that amount of money. Don't get me wrong, I love my cheeks but if I could cover my whole face and not just my cheeks for $50 then I'd prefer to do that.

Maybe you'll think I'm a tightass, maybe you'll say I'm not 'up with it', but most of my Mac products have been gifts, bargains on Ebay or swaps I've done in the past.

I love makeup more than I can explain but I am never tunnel visioned about anything in life, whether it be makeup, food, clothes, shoes or even the smallest thing like stationary! I love to try different things, cheap or expensive, new or old.

I can't say that this is a new addiction of mine, because I have been shopping here for a long time but I think I should give an honorable mention to Inglot.

It can't be easy being in competition with a company like Mac.

I have found that they have the best quality in packaging and product. But what is the best quality they offer? The price!

I just got three nail polishes for the price of one. They were on sale for $5 each, just because they are last seasons shades!!!

Point me in the direction of a Mac store who would lower their prices to $5 just because it's last seasons stock and I'd be there in a heartbeat. I think the point I'm making is that I don't think I've ever seen a sale at Mac. They get away with keeping prices the same because they have a 'permanent line'.

I love Mac and this wasn't intended as a dig at Mac so please don't get me wrong but in my opinion, Inglot is THE GREATEST!

I love love love love love love them.

Just look at these photos and just TRY to tell me that they are not worth putting your Mac Pro store on hold for a while?!

False Lashes & Scars.

I love the look of false lashes but whenever I put them on, it feels like I have something stuck on my lashes so I'm constantly tempted to pull at my lashes to remove that invisible hair or piece of fluff.

An alternative for this would be to use the piece lashes. Don't know what the real name for them is but they are the individual lashes that have like 3 or 4 strands.
Geez, I'm reading back over that sentence and although I'm describing it from my own experience, I still have no idea what I'm on about so I'll put a photo to explain it instead.

Yes, those. Anyway, I have had a pair of these lashes (made by Revlon) sitting in my room for the last two years and I've never used them. Over the years the dust has collected, I have taken them out of the packet, lost the glue, lost the application tweezers that came with them, eventually stood on the packet when it was left on the floor so half of them are missing. I found a few one day when I was sweeping my floor, they had gotten stuck to the bottom of my favourite pair of shoes. It must have looked like the eyelash fairy was following me around on the days I wore them.

My point is that today when I was cleaning my room, I found them again and thought I'd give them a try!

I am going to my grandparents house tonight for dinner to see how my grandfather is recovering after his knee operation so tomorrow night when Tuesday and I go out to the cinema I will wear them and do a FOTD.

I have to buy some proper foundation in the morning and some glue for the eyelashes.

Will be posting photos of my grandfathers knee scar when I get home. EWWWW =p

Peace.
