#1 - Colour Blocking

I absolutely LOVE colour blocking. It would have to be my favourite trend of 2011.. and I will be taking advantage of this style well into 2012!

I rummaged through my collection and I would have to say that this is my fave colour blocking item.

It's a pink and orange Guess clutch with a silver chain.

I Guess It's Pin Up Day!

I woke up this morning to my mum applying hot rollers. It's the first time in years that I've seen her using them and it sort of inspired me to do a pin up look. 

In my opinion, Guess by Marciano ad campaigns are the definition of modern day pin up.

When I took out the hot rollers, this look even reminded me of Sandy in the final scene of Grease. 

I guess this look can really be whatever you want it to be.

Haul: Guess.

School's Out, For EVER!

I woke up this morning to the sound of my mums voice claiming to be me to whoever was at our front door. As soon as she said "Yep, I'm Bliss." I knew she was signing for the Sportsgirl parcel we ordered only two days ago!

I was sleeping on the couch at the time because at 3.30am this morning I still couldn't sleep. I dragged my doona, pillow and self to the lounge-room and played my Home Alone dvd. Instead of falling asleep during the movie like I had intended, I watched the whole thing and dozed off ten minutes after the movie finished.

The courier delivered the package so early this morning that instead of springing to life ready to rip open the parcel like I normally do.. I mumbled "That was quick." (referring to the fact we placed our order two days ago) and fell asleep mid sentence.

When I woke up properly, my mum and I organized ten lots of items that I have to vlog in the next day or two.. and then we went shopping. We got some great items from the MNG sale as it's only got four days to go and then we went into Cotton On - which was a mad house because they were having a sale. While we were looking around Cotton On, my mum and I decided to go to a local outlet centre so I put down the $5 top I was holding (as the line for registers was at least twelve people long) and headed for the car.

After a quick ten minute drive we were at the outlet centre, which is like a ghost town. I don't know how any of those businesses survive when we were the only customers in the entire shopping centre - literally!! I went a bit nuts at Guess because they were selling their last season summer clothes and then I went a bit more nuts at the Cotton On outlet. I even got my girlfriend Candy a pair of sandals in the style she loves for only $2.

When I got home, my boyfriend came to see me for an hour and we planned the holiday we are taking for my birthday in August. I can't wait!

Now that I've written this post I will be able to sit down with my bowl of pasta, can of Coke and eleven episodes of Boardwalk Empire. I'm keen for a marathon, but perhaps I'll aim to watch two or three tonight and see how I go.

How Much Is That Bag, In The Window?

OOTN - Friday.

As you all know, last night was my first date with "Italia". We went out for dinner on Lygon Street and I had a great night. He picked me up at 7.15 (I like a man who's early) and he took me home at midnight.

We went to dinner then we went for a drive through the city. We ended up on St Kilda beach and I took off my heels and walked up to my ankles in the water. I felt like the lady in the fountain in La Dolce Vita with my blonde hair and black dress. He thought I was crazy but admitted that if he wasn't wearing jeans and sneakers he would have came in too.

I think I'll definitely hang out with him again but after last night I want to concentrate on Richard Gere. It's nice to know I have options but I want to stick to one path and not stuff it up by being indecisive and playing the field.

My Valentines Day Look

For Valentines day Aaliya and I went to the local argileh cafe.

Afterwards, Richard Gere and I went for a cruise around the city and then he dropped me off at home. We had our first kiss, which lead to about ten more kisses while sitting in my driveway.
I'm so glad he knows how to kiss.

Now onto the important stuff.. The hair, makeup and outfit!

I waved my hair in a Marilyn-esque style and wore a long dress/gown by Bardot.

Using the Napoleon Smokey Eye Palette I always show you and Revlon Mauve It Over lipstick.
