Window Shopping..

Wayne Cooper + leopard print + handbag = A lust have.

Colour Blocking Jewelry Haul

Yesterday I went to Forever New to buy the gold & purple earrings you see photographed below. I ended up walking out with a lot more than expected. I love their colour blocking range, as you can see from my choices below.

Colette Statement Bags..

I'm a massive fan of handbags..

I'm a massive fan of all fashion, actually, but this year I am paying close attention to statement bags.

Here are my favourite picks from the range at Colette.

Summer Trend

#1 - Colour Blocking

Gucci

I absolutely LOVE colour blocking. It would have to be my favourite trend of 2011.. and I will be taking advantage of this style well into 2012!

I rummaged through my collection and I would have to say that this is my fave colour blocking item.

It's a pink and orange Guess clutch with a silver chain.

What A Way To Wear A Scarf..

Each time I'm at Northland Shopping Centre I sit in the food court and stare at this mannequin from a far.

Where you see three, I see only one

In this photo she even has more lighting than the other two (which blend together in my opinion)..

What a simple yet FANTASTIC way to wear a scarf. It makes me want to actually buy a scarf!

Worn this way it's a scarf, jacket, shawl and top all in one.

I love it. I loved it so much when I saw it that I went back the next day JUST to take this photo.

On my "to buy" list so far..

- Portmans leopard print dress
- Inglot AMC Face & Body bronzer
- Valleygirl pink and chocolate brown striped maxi skirt
- Windsor Smith glitter wedges from DFO
- A scarf just like this, with a matching skinny belt.

If you have no idea what I'm talking about.. I'm referring to the styling of the mannequin on the right.

A Girly Kind Of Day..

These flowy maxi skirts are very feminine in my eyes, even when they're in khaki or black!
I love matching them with big gypsy earrings, a basic top and patterned flats.

You can't tell by these photos (taken on my MacBook) but I'm wearing leopard print ballet flats.

To make the outfit even more simple chic, I wore my hair up and curled back my fringe and side bits.

Add some neutral blush, earthy lipstick and nude-gold eyeshadow and you have a five min glam look.

Online Finds: Sportsgirl Website

I'm super duper excited.. So excited that I've already told mum the same thing five times today!
"I can't wait for our Sportsgirl stuff to arrive."

Lastnight mum and I were up late on the Sportsgirl website buying all the accessories we liked that are on sale for ridiculously low prices.

When I was in Shepparton last week with my mum and grandmother, I went into Sportsgirl and they were having an accessories sale. Everything was 50% off the MARKED price.. Most jewelry was already marked down to $2.99 $1.99 and even 99cents! So half price of those prices..? What more could I ask for?!
I bought $35 worth of stuff so you can imagine all the items I got! I will be doing a vlog on it tomorrow so I'll link it when it's uploaded.

It was a good shopping experience. I've never shopped online from a stores actual website before. It was $10 flat rate postage which is decent if you ask me. Most of the things I bought aren't even available in store anymore and they aren't this cheap even when they are - so the money I saved on the fact the items are more expensive in store, plus the time and petrol more than makes up for the measily $10 on postage. Even their clothing and shoes on sale were cheaper than they are in store. I might have to make a habit of visiting the Sportsgirl website and stalking their sale pages ;)

All you need is a PayPal account or a credit card (or visa debit). They post internationally too!

As for the shopping we did lastnight on the site? Here are the photos of the things I bought..

The Urban Turban.

Does your fringe do this when it's in a pony tail?

Or maybe it looks like this?

After some much needed styling, you could probably get it to look like this..

But without a suave expression, it usually ends up looking like this..

Which makes people think you look like this..

You could just sweep it all the way over but you have may have uncooperative hairs like this..

And then they all follow suit and you look like this..

You can choose to rock the Elvis look..

But only if you don't intend on moving at all, all day..

Coz we all know that as soon as you tilt your head, it WILL fall back to this..

After suffering from this problem for the last six months I tried all different things.

I straightened my fringe daily (which caused it to break slightly after a month) then I tried headbands (which caused a constant headache) so after playing around with one of my lightweight scarves, I got this:

An "Urban Turban" as I like to call it.

Very easy to do..

Very slimming to the face..

And it's SUPER funky.

But the best thing is, you hair doesn't have to be done at all.
You could have towel dried hair, dirty hair, unruly hair or perfect hair but your sick of the standard styles you've been doing.

I put my hair in a bun or a pony tail, wrap my turban like a headband and away I go.
I think you should try it the next time your having a bad hair day!
