Diet Dreams..

I watched the movie Tamara Drewe lastnight and was in total awe of Gemma Arterton. 

I think there were two WOW moments (of her) for me in particular. 

One: When she was in the bath and you see her amazing side profile.. 

Two: When she wore those denim shorts. 

Some people will say she looks 'fat' or that they are 'unflattering' etc.. 

In fact, one of the characters in the movie actually had a line saying; 

"She's poured herself into those shorts!"

I think she looks immaculate. It's so refreshing to see a full figured woman wearing mini shorts. 

She has no flaws that I can see. 

No cellulite, no real wobble.. She has a realistic body for a woman and I love it!

 It was like a positive diet sign being sent directly to me when I found these today at my local thrift store.

Now I know without a doubt that I have the willpower to reach my goal.

They are a size 14 vintage pair of Bardot denim hot pants.

So far, I can get them just above my knees (lol)

I have a long way to go.

A Diamond Near My Heart.

You all know by now that I'm on a health kick trying to lose some weight.. Well, after making a habit of not just walking on the treadmill but running at full speed ahead, I noticed a small red mark in my cleavage. I figured my skin was just irritated from my bra and let it go.

A week later, it's a full blown bumpy and itchy rash. I went to the doctor and he told me that it's a rash caused by heat, sweat and constant rubbing/friction which would have been caused by the running I do five days a week at the gym.

He gave me some cream but I thought I'd show you what it's like right now at it's worst.

Women really can't get a break, can we?!

Body Shop - Cranberry Joy Shimmer Lotion.

For Christmas last year my grandparents gave me this amazing shimmer lotion by The Body Shop. I love the effect it gives. Such a subtle but clearly visible shimmer in any light.

I don't wear it as much as I want to because the cranberry scent is honestly overwhelming and I'm not a huge fan of cranberries to begin with!

The scent is it's only real downfall.

The size of the glitter is perfect.
The amount of glitter is perfect.
It washes off easily in the shower.
It applies easily and evenly.
It doesn't leave the inside of your clothes looking like the floor after a new years eve party.
Doesn't leave your skin with a sticky or greasy film.

I give this product an 8/10
