40 Beauty Q's.

SKINCARE

-How many times do you wash your face daily?
Usually twice.

-What skin type do you have? (dry, oily, combo)
I used to have combination skin, sort of normal skin but lately it's gotten a lot more oily and it has dry patches. Ugh.

-What is your current facial wash?
I alternate but I love Happy Derm.

-Do you exfoliate?
Yes, not as much as I should.

-What brand do you use?
Once again, I alternate.

-What moisturizer do you use?
This also changes. Lately I've been using Moisture Surge by Clinique (or was it called Moisture Quench?) Hrmm..

-Do you have freckles?
I have a few beauty spots on my face but not freckles as in gingers haha - no offense ;)

-Do you use eye cream?
Not as much as I should.

-Do you or did you have acne prone skin?
Once a month I get a pimple on my chin and a pimple under my right cheek bone. Pain in the ass and my skin is already starting to scar there a little.

-Did you ever have to use Pro-activ?
Nah, a friend of mine said it's awesome but as soon as she stopped using it, she got all her acne back again. Kinda pointless unless I want to buy a lifetime supply.

MAKE-UP

-What foundation do you use?
Infallible!!!

-How about concealer?
Erase Paste.

-Do you know your undertone color?
=\ No - How embarrassing. Pink undertones make me look orange and yellow undertones make me look sick.

-What do you think of fake eyelashes?
They are fantastic but I feel like a bit of fluff is stuck on my eyelash that I cant get off. Am keen to try different types until I get a set I'm happy with. They look fabulous and I'm sick of clumpy mascara f'ing up my makeup.

-Did you know that you are supposed to change your mascara every 3 months?
Yes. I change mine every 1.5 because my eyelashes get used of it and start acting up. Cheeky buggars haha.

-What brand of mascara do you use?
My favourite is Chanel Exceptionnel. It works like MAGIC. I'd use it for the rest of my life, I swear by it. I ran out of mine so now I'm just using Maybelline, Revlon and L'Oreal ones for the time being.

-Sephora or MAC?
Mac. Damn Sephora needs to be introduced to Australia.

-Do you have a MAC Pro-card?
Nope.

-What makeup tools do you use in make up application?
I put my foundation on with my hands. I love the foundation brush, even the sponge but your foundation should be massaged in with something that can feel the curves in your skin.

-Do you use make-up base/primer for the eyes?
Nope.

-For the face?
Used to, but now I just moisturize.

-What is your favorite eyeshadow (color or shade)?
I have a Mac that is the darkest purple it is almost black and it has bright purple glitter flecks through it. Cant remember it's name. I also love all YSL shadows (and everything else). I find that dark greens look nice on my lids too.

-Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner?
Pencil - can't stand liquid liner.

-How often do you poke your eyes with an eyeliner pencil?
Never.

-What do you think of pigment eyeshadows?
In LOVE with them.

-Do you use mineral makeup?
I don't get enough coverage from the foundation or the powders but I'm open to suggestion.

-What is your favorite lipstick?
My old Red Earth chalky baby pink.

-How about lipgloss?
I don't wear lipgloss very often because my hair always gets stuck in it whenever wind is involved. Yuck.

-What is your favorite blush to use?
I have a really nice soft hot pink by Bourjois.

-Do you buy your makeup on ebay?
Best place to buy designer makeup on the cheap!

-Do you like drugstore makeup?
This is an American question.

-Do you go to CCO's? (cosmetic company outlets)
This is another American question.

-Did you ever consider taking make-up classes?
Nope. I went to my friends Napoleon Perdis makeup class one day just to have a sticky beak and take her to lunch and I decided to do my makeup while I was waiting (with my own products).
The teacher walked over and asked me what I was doing? Before I had a chance to answer she said 'You can't put eyeshadow on before eyeliner! You have to do your eyeliner first and then apply eyeshadow so you can fix any mistakes you made with your liner'.
I replied 'I dont make mistakes with my liner.'
She's getting paid to teach them to be afraid, therefore they never have to perfect their liner skills.
Girls, do your eyeshadow first, then your liner.
If you stuff up your liner, you can always fix your eyeshadow after you have removed your liner with a cotton bud.

-Are you clumsy in putting on makeup?
My eyelashes are really long so if I'm not patient and I open my eyes normally as soon as I've put on my mascara, I get a big black smudge up near my eyebrows which sucks. Other than that, no not really.

-Name a makeup crime that you hate?
Unnatural eyebrows. Dark lipliner with light lipstick/gloss. Foundation not blended into the neck.
Really hard/harsh blush. Orange or dark foundation in an attempt to look tanned.

-Do you like colorful shades of makeup (lipstick, eyeshadow) or neutral ones?
When I'm tanned I love hot pink lipstick and hot pink blush, when I'm my normal slightly pasty self, I prefer browns, nudes, greens and a neutral lipstick.

-Which celebrity always has great make up?
I hate to admit but Kim Kardashian.

-If you could leave the house using just ONE make up item, what would you use?
Foundation. Everything else I can smudge to make it come back to life again lol.

-Could you ever leave the house without any makeup on?
Every time I do this, I see someone I know or see a gorgeous guy I'd like to know haha.
I'm not embarrassed when I don't wear makeup. I don't really look that different, I just prefer to have it on so I can accentuate my features instead of looking like a boy. Haha (I have a complex that I look slightly boy-ish without makeup).

-Do you think you look good even without any makeup on?
I look normal.

-In your opinion, what is the BEST makeup line?
Yves Saint Laurent or Mac.

-What do you think of Makeup?
I love makeup. I like just having it there, even if I dont use it so once I start buying it, I cant stop. It's just pretty and really, makeup is like art. So it's my artistic outlet.
