I Went To Bed Wishing Not To Wake Up Alone..

And I didn't..

Although this is not exactly what I had in mind..

Luckily it was time to wash my bedding anyway.

A Rocky Bed

Or should I say "A bed FOR Rocky"?

I just love having my foot used as a pillow.

Not On The Fendi!!!

My dog Montana has a habit of sleeping (or generally being caught) in places that are the worst possible spot for him to make a home for himself.

I don't know if you remember this post - where he fell asleep in my washing basket full of clean clothes. Each item on the top smelt like stale popcorn and needed to be washed again. The rest somehow survived the invasion of vintage cinema snack smells and were able to be hung straight away.

The reason for this post is because I recently moved house and got called away to help my mum while I was half way through putting my new pink and WHITE Fendi doona cover on my bed.

It was only about three minutes before I went back into my room to find Montana sleeping on the pillow cases.

You really can't teach an old dog new tricks. Trust me, I've tried!

Tommy And The Sun.

The best part of summer for me was laying under the shade cloth in my back yard with my dogs.

Get Out Of My Fridge!

Just another day in my house.

Little Teefies.

It's 6am and I'm sitting on my couch like the caped crusader with my blanket wrapped around my shoulders trying to get warm. On my left, mum dozing loudly on the other couch. To my right is Montana laying balls out.

Like so..

What a morning.

Montana is a pure white dog, that is what makes it so noticeable. He is sooo white that if he went outside in the snow, we'd never find him again.. Unless he was laying on his back. I really wanna know how do dogs gets black balls. It's sooo strange. I'm not a pervert, I just find it so weird that I had to share. I'm not curious enough to type it into Google but it eases my curiousity if I bring it up on my blog.

While I'm on the subject of Montana, does anyone else have a dog that smells like popcorn (in a good way)? He smells like warm stale buttered popcorn. Even a day after he is washed, he could walk past you and you would swear black and blue that he just got home from the cinemas that's how distinctive it is. It's just another weird thing about him. Geez if I told you all the weird things about this dog I'd be here til Wednesday and I really don't have that long. Either way the point is that even after he is gone, I'll never forget that smell. It makes me wanna sqwoodge him.

Time to go. Sebastian is out of the shower.

This post wasn't intended to have a point. I had to 'waste' 20 minutes while my brother was in the bathroom. It's now time to dye my hair. I didn't wanna do it last night in case I stressed my hair too much.

If I'm bald tonight, one of you are buying me a wig =p

Peace.

When You Were Young..

You know how in movies, every spoilt brat wants a pony?

Meet Benji.

How Much Is That Doggy In The Window?

The day I bought Cleo home, my mum thought she was the ugliest puppy I could have chosen.
She was so small we had to put a cat collar on her.

But when she grey a bit bigger, my mum thought she was the most beautiful dog in the world - still does.

(Photo Heavy) Shopping Trip

This was the post I was meant to do yesterday before my Mac left me for a man because Tuesday is currently attempting to salvage what he can).

I was going to do a FOTD (face of the day) and a 'what i wore today' entry but I stuffed up. I didn't take a proper photo of my makeup or my outfit before I left the house so you will have to imagine how awesome I looked (lol) by these photos I did end up taking. I wore a blue knit long sleeve body con dress from Vicious Threads (circa 2008). Have only worn it 3 or 4 times. My hair was all over the freakin place as you can see. I wore my new Forever New white and black lace print tights and some silver sandals. I looked pretty standard but I have never really posted an outfit I've been wearing so this is my every day casual look. Who wants to get all dolled up when they are walking and shopping all day?!

My makeup consists of the SHITTIEST foundation EVER - thankyou CoverGirl. One hour and I'm oilier than a pan in Chef Ramsays kitchen. I wore a pink blush by Boujoirs, dark blue eyeshadow by Red Earth and a dark blue metallic eyeliner done in tradition cat eyes fashion (flick on the end). It was a Bourjois. AWESOME eyeliner. It goes on really smooth and doesn't smudge. My mascara is good, it's yellow and purple. Will get back to you on that one.

This wont be a huge draining post (by my standards). Mum and I went to Brunswick today (remember this is being posted a day late, so it was yesterday) (Brunswick is where the post box is). We went into a chain store op shop/thrift store called Savers and I got 4 pairs of ballet flats, a pair of pink Ralph Lauren trackie pants, a Mickey Mouse by Disney jumper, a bag hook, a Seduce khaki silk military dress, a red Miss Shop dress and some other bits and pieces. Only two of the ballet flats are for me, the others were for mum coz they were too big. The mustard Tony Bianco buckle flats were only $3.99!!!!!! They have been worn like once! They still sell them at Tony Bianco for around $90.

We then went to this cafe called Yiannis where mum got a hot chocolate (should have saved everyone the trouble of complaining and just named the damn thing a cold chocolate on their menu). I got an iced coffee which instantly gave me stomach cramps and as embarrassing as it is to admit, it gave me gas like an hour later. Thank god it was cold so no-one else was waiting at the bus stop. Between mums yawnburp and my silent gas we couldn't stop laughing. Which could have made it worse, but surprisingly made me feel better and less bloated/cramped.

It was so cold that mum wore her scarf, my scarf and tightened the drawstring on her hoodie so tight that all you could see was her eyes and nose all squished together. Hilarious, I'm telling you. Our bus eventually came. It may as well have been a horse and carriage it was so old. It is now called the Disco Disco bus because the lights are dim (until the driver steps on the accelerator and the lights go bright for litterally two seconds) - not that it matters because the cloud of dust he left the car behind us in meant we had their fog lights and high beams to make up for the 'mood lighting'. Also the 'bus stopping' and exit signs were purple and blue and floor infront of it that you could have been break dancing and noone would need to move a muscle to get out of your way. Ahhhh, stretch out the legs. We walked home in the freezing cold, I didn't wanna wear my gloves because they didn't match my outfit. I called my friend Emin and got a message from VL Sulu. Came home to some linguine and a heater - SUFFER IN YA JOX PAIGE (jokes jokes). Took the photos of my new stuff and sat down. Oh yes, LOVE the relaxation.

Peace.

Don't Stand So Close To Me.

My brother spent most of the day listening to the Police and other 80s music so mum and I cleaned the house until it was spotless.

Last night I only got to have 5 hours sleep so after some cleaning, I had burned up what little energy I had in me. Mum told me I needed a nap so I found a comfortable position on the couch, snuggled up in a rug and had Cleo, Rocky and Tommy pile onto me.

Dogs have the best life, mine do anyway. They sleep literally upto 19 hours a day. Even if its not sleep, they're still curled up in a ball resting. Montana is the worst though, he snores louder than any boyfriend I've ever had or relative I've ever heard. I even think he rivals my grandparents - and they each snore so loud that one of them has to wave the white flag and go into a spare room half way through the night just so they can sleep in peace haha.

Anyway, I'm not a snoring person, I talk in my sleep. It starts off with a word or two coming through from a dream I'm having and can eventually turn into a full fledged conversation if someone is there asking me questions while I'm sleeping. I never remember or know whats going on, but my mum and I are the worst of talking in our sleep.

Mum (Scarlet) has great one liners when she is sleeping. Just incoherent rants with one sentence that is translate-able. 'Put the lid on the fish and chips' was my favourite up until two weeks ago when it was 'A woh bam a loo buh, a woh bam boo to you'. For all of you non-Grease fans, that is the intro to a song at the end of the movie when they are at the carnival. She hadn't seen the movie in over a year but it was on her mind obviously.

I have millions of photos of my mum but not on this computer. Here is a photo of her and her 3 younger brothers. I'll have to get back to you on a date because it's really hard for me to tell. I'd like to say it was mid 80s but like I said, it's hard for me to tell. Either way my mum was already a mum in this photo. She had my brother and then had me a few years later. She wanted to have more children but unfortunately cancer runs really strong in the women in our family.

Sorry to abruptly run off but I have to go, dogs need to be fed.

Peace.

My Fair Rocky

Yesterday was flat out. Hope you liked the A - Z. It was hard - so many loves, so little letters. I'm going to do random letter updates as time goes on.

I don't know if I've ever mentioned this but I have 4 dogs.

Montana, named after a more homosexual/scattered Tony Montana who, until his bath this morning was sporting a Beatles fringe as you can see in the photo I took last night.
Tommy, named after a Tommy Gun because he's black and faster than a bullet. I tried to take a photo of him for my blog but the photo ended up looking like a mix between a pile of afro hair extensions and a mohair cape.
Cleo, named after Cleopatra because her eyelashes are even longer than mine and she is the queen of all the men (in the doggy kingdom). Even her own son is under her spell.
Rocky, named after Rocky Balboa because he's the biggest and bluntest tool in the shed. For example - The first time he barked, he was so scared/shocked that he fell off the couch. It's become a hobby of his ever since. Mostly when he has objects in his mouth.

This is Rocky and his baby (It's a toy Snoopy). He looks after it like it's his own child, cleaning it regularly and sleeping with him.
Rocky is the son of Montana and Cleo. She had 6 puppies. We decided it wouldn't be right to sell him in case people were mean to him because he was a bit dopey.

Yesterday when I came home from the post office he and Snoopy were the first to greet me. Barking away (with Snoopy in his mouth). I cleared off the ottoman and put down all the parcels. I got Bertie Beetle to take me to the post office. I made sure to take the complimentary beach bag I got when I bought my Guess towel, expecting I'd fill it with 15 odd parcels. There was at least 50 waiting for me. I walked out of the post office with my Guess beach bag full, an enviro bag full and my arms overflowing. I have my fingers crossed that I didn't drop any little parcels in between the post office and the car.

I took a photo of all the parcels before I opened them just to show you what I was dealing with!
The package wrapped in a black garbage bag in the shape of a severed head was the first to be opened. It was in fact a severed head - a plastic one that I bought online to advertise hats and jewelery. Her name is Melissa and well, my family have a rule that we are not allowed to have common names so I'm going to call her Masille. She can keep her 'birth' letters, I've just jazzed them up. It was really temping to start her name with 'Ass' but it's bad enough that I get called Anas for short and we don't need another butt in the family. Ma-seal-ey will have to do.

I have to go, my mum is eying me off because a bowl of linguine and an episode of Castle is waiting.

Peace
