I Want XXL Turbo Colossal Big Falsie Lashes.. So I Bought All Of Those Mascaras.
Yesterday my mum and I went shopping and when we were in Coles I noticed they were having a sale on makeup. Naturally I went to check it out and all their Maybelline mascara's were between twelve and fourteen dollars each. It still sounds expensive but there was an average saving of $6 on each of these mascaras so I bought six or so..
I have only ever tried the Colossal so this will be an interesting few days for me as I am very picky about my lashes.
Lastnight I used the Volum Express Turbo and wasn't very impressed but I'm willing to give it another go. I will be doing a review on each of these with a rating and before/after pics over the next few days so be on the look out!
Have you tried any of these mascaras?
Were you impressed?
Or did you waste your money?

There she goes.
It just sunk in that I sold my car.
My grandfather gave me the full amount in $100 notes. After eating a beautiful pasta dinner, I jumped straight onto www.carsales.com.au and had a look at the options in my price range.
I found the most BEAUTIFUL dark green Audi for a steal. It was so cheap that I didn't waste any time in sending the owner a message to his mobile and asking questions about the car. I'm sweating on him to get back to me because this money is burning a hole in my pocket already. If I'm not careful I'll go out tomorrow and spend $1,000 on clothes, shoes, accessories and more makeup! Speaking of makeup..*pause - guy replied to my sms* DAMN IT, the Audi is solddddd.
Grr, disappointing. Anyway, speaking of makeup, I found all new Calvin Klein makeup sets so I will no doubt be investing in those. Is there such a thing as having a shopping disease? I just cant stop myself. I hate having money. I hate having money because I just want to spend it.

I hate being deceived.
When I opened my parcel today, I was expecting the palette that's displayed in the above photo. After all, that is the 'Dior Beige Massai palette'.
When I placed a bid, I knew the palette was a tad different but it still looked quite large in their photos, not overly huge but at least a standard Dior palette size. Today when it arrived it didn't take me long to realize that it's the smallest frikin palette on the face of the Earth!! I had to open the package again to see if that was just a free sample that I received with my full sized palette. It wasn't.
It's probably double the size of a standard single Dior shadow but we all know that still not anywhere as big as the normal palettes. I'll be lucky if I can even get an ear bud into the eyeshadows on the sides, let alone a standard makeup brush...
Ok maybe it's not THAT small but seriously, I was thinking the palette was around 10 - 12cm. It's more like 6cm.
I really don't mind because I love the colours but I wish they had of advertised it was a travel size palette.
Anyway, enough of a rant and onto the important stuff.

After moving house I saw how much stuff I really have shoved away in drawers.
Yes I have a lot of clothes and shoes but I was really surprised at how much makeup I have.
When I seen how much makeup I've collected over the last six months: 'DAMNNNNN, I really need to stop buying makeup' was my initial thought. Followed by 'What am I missing from my collection?', which then sent me on a wish-list frenzy.
I have a small wish list of things like the UD Naked Palette and $100 worth of ELF products. I wrote my list, pinned it on my wall and convinced myself to stick to a list for once in my life. I was doing so well until today.
I went to buy some more bleach and a few different blonde hair dye's when the sign sucked me in - SALE SALE SALE. A whole week without buying a single item of makeup came crashing down as soon as I saw that sign..
If you want swatches then please don't hesitate to ask. I've swatched most of them already, just didn't take photos. Will be reviewing these as I wear them too btw.
