Cotton On Baby knows just what I'd like for my little girl.

A Girly Kind Of Day..

These flowy maxi skirts are very feminine in my eyes, even when they're in khaki or black!

I love matching them with big gypsy earrings, a basic top and patterned flats. 

You can't tell by these photos (taken on my MacBook) but I'm wearing leopard print ballet flats.

To make the outfit even more simple chic, I wore my hair up and curled back my fringe and side bits.

Add some neutral blush, earthy lipstick and nude-gold eyeshadow and you have a five min glam look.

I couldn't find anything over a DD and even then, I think I only found two DD's.

School's Out, For EVER!

I woke up this morning to the sound of my mums voice claiming to be me to whoever was at our front door. As soon as she said "Yep, I'm Bliss." I knew she was signing for the Sportsgirl parcel we ordered only two days ago!

I was sleeping on the couch at the time because at 3.30am this morning I still couldn't sleep. I dragged my doona, pillow and self to the lounge-room and played my Home Alone dvd. Instead of falling asleep during the movie like I had intended, I watched the whole thing and dozed off ten minutes after the movie finished.

The courier delivered the package so early this morning that instead of springing to life ready to rip open the parcel like I normally do.. I mumbled "That was quick." (referring to the fact we placed our order two days ago) and fell asleep mid sentence.

When I woke up properly, my mum and I organized ten lots of items that I have to vlog in the next day or two.. and then we went shopping. We got some great items from the MNG sale as it's only got four days to go and then we went into Cotton On - which was a mad house because they were having a sale. While we were looking around Cotton On, my mum and I decided to go to a local outlet centre so I put down the $5 top I was holding (as the line for registers was at least twelve people long) and headed for the car.

After a quick ten minute drive we were at the outlet centre, which is like a ghost town. I don't know how any of those businesses survive when we were the only customers in the entire shopping centre - literally!! I went a bit nuts at Guess because they were selling their last season summer clothes and then I went a bit more nuts at the Cotton On outlet. I even got my girlfriend Candy a pair of sandals in the style she loves for only $2.

When I got home, my boyfriend came to see me for an hour and we planned the holiday we are taking for my birthday in August. I can't wait!

Now that I've written this post I will be able to sit down with my bowl of pasta, can of Coke and eleven episodes of Boardwalk Empire. I'm keen for a marathon, but perhaps I'll aim to watch two or three tonight and see how I go.

Mirror Mirror On The Wall, Who's The BAREST Of Them All?

I didn't realize how often I wore maxi skirts until I went shopping with a girlfriend and she pointed out literally every maxi skirt she seen. Apparently if it's maxi, it's me..

If I'm being honest then I'll admit that I have made a conscious effort NOT to wear pants this winter unless I'm going on a junk food run with my boyfriend. And I have purposely stayed away from the long jumper and leggings combo because anything shorter than my knees show off my big elephant tree trunk thighs. I guess I love the fact that maxi skirts emphasize my small waist, big hips and round ghetto booty while slimming out the rest of me. I'm warm and I look hot.. Why would I want to wear anything else?!

I tend to buy all the firm fitting penguin maxi skirts like these maxi skirts from Cotton On. I always wear the grey and navy striped one because it's the most flattering in colour and material. (It looks grey and brown in the photo for some reason) but the other day I couldn't find it and decided to wear the black one.

My full length mirror broke while we were moving house so I took a quick squiz in the bathroom mirror and looked fine.. I walked around my local shopping centre and got a bit paranoid when I noticed my mum walking behind me, trying to look as casual and non-suss as possible, which only made me more paranoid.

It took her running into my legs and butt about five times with the trolley before I asked her if there was a hole or a mark on my skirt that she was trying to cover or if my ass was just a trolley magnet..

She burst out laughing and told me to have a look in Target's full length mirror.

I'm glad I was wearing black underwear and I'm thanking my lucky stars that it wasn't a g-string day.

Shopping Update : Photos Need To Be Uploaded.

Last night was another great night with Richard Gere but I think it's time to give you guys a break of me talking about him.

Lets get more into the fashion side of things..

Yesterday I went with Aaliya to Supre and was amazed to see that all of their maxi dresses were reduced to $3.75 and all of their summer tops, skirts and other clothing from last season was $3.75 or $5. It's safe to assume that her and I went NUTS.

I also bought some singlets from Cotton On, a dress from Deborah K, two dresses from Rampage and a gorgeous lipstain/crayon/pencil from Inglot.. It's a super gorgeous deep raspberry tone.

I finished my shopping trip off with a pineapple, strawberry, orange, apple, watermelon and ice fruit shake from Boost Juice.

YUM.

Window Shopping

Golden Girl.

I went to Brand Junction today and got my brother 20 t-shirts. He is always complaining that he has "nothing to wear" so I decided to shut him up once and for all.

After buying him the tshirts I went into Guess then I went into Aldo, Zu, Cotton On and Factorie. All of those stores were pretty disappointing to say the least. I figured that I'd be going home empty handed, until I went into Globalize.

These were on the back wall reduced down from $189. They fit PERFECTLY. They came in gold or black. I only have one other pair of lace heels and they are black Tony Bianco's with a velvet bow so these are definitely unlike any other shoe I own.
