Where I'm From - When It Rains, It Pours.

I'm just going to come right out and say it. I'm addicted - to battered savaloys. Aka battered hot dogs or dagwood dogs. They are my dieting nightmare. My addiction is only multiplied by the knowledge that the best battered sav I've ever had is cooked only a five minute walk from my house. I keep trying to ween myself off them but I always end up failing miserably. Whats that term? Crash and burn? Well, like the Hells Kitchen theme song.. Fireeeeeee.

Two days ago, I caved. I'd done so well. My mum and I walked upto the fish and chip shop and Burak cooked me the best battered sav of my life. I dunno if it's the batter, the hotdog, the sauce or what happened on the way home that made it so extra delicious. You see, Melbourne weather is probably as unpredictable as my mood when I wake up for the day. It starts off wonderful but something happens and SNAP, there goes the smile.

I have a short fuse but Melbourne skies take the cake.

Here are some before and after photos to explain what I'm talking about.

Before: Dry hair, dry clothes, natural makeup.

PS - Selling this oversized jumper because that's what it makes me look - oversized.

Before: Terrible photo but I just wanted you to see the before of my makeup. Natural, almost invisible, Right?

CAUTION: BELOW/AFTER PHOTOS ARE NOT FOR THE FAINT HEARTED.
SUCH HORRIFIC PHOTOS WILL NEVER BE SHOWN IN PUBLIC AGAIN.

After: Drenched rat, wet dog, soggy cow.. You name it.

So as I was saying, Melbourne weather is unpredictable. The one day I change bags (forgetting to swap over my umbrella) and wear my new Chanel mascara that ISN'T waterproof. Go figure. The only good thing about this situation is that I was only a 5 minute walk from my house.

We soldiered on despite the practical hail storm we got caught in. I slipped out of my shoe (thong) three times on the walk home. Just as we walked into my street the rain stopped and mum took these photos as our house was in sight.

Oh and one last thing, I know I need to redye my hair. I dyed the black regrowth a week ago and it's already a centimeter or more of light brown regrowth. Shocking.
